A year after its initial release, Yeezy and adidas will release two new colorways of the Yeezy Foam Runners on March 26, 2021. The Foam Runner went from being an internet meme to one of the most sought-after silhouettes from Yeezy. We could attribute the rise of the Foam Runner to the insane resale prices in the secondary market.
The Foam Runners received negative comments on social media before its initial release, but the Yeezy fans came around again, just like they did with the 500s and 700s. The shoe stands out from anything we’ve seen in terms of footwear design, and Kanye took it a step further with the manufacturing process. The Foam Runners is made algae cutting down the use of fossil fuels in production. It safe to say that these are sustainable sneakers. Kanye also confirmed on the Joe Rogan Podcast last year that Yeezy will manufacture the pairs in the United States and, eventually, will cut the retail price to $20 overtime.
The Yeezy Foam Runner MXT Moon Grey and Sand will retail on March 26, 2021, at CA$110, and we expect the resale value to be 300-400% over the retail price.
