The Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” Is Back

For the second time since 1991, the ‘Carmine’ Air Jordan 6 is being retroed as a standalone shoe. The last time the Air Jordan 6 ‘Carmine,’ Kanye was still at Nike, and the Red Octobers just dropped.

Michael Jordan wore the shoe nicknamed after the deep red hues it bears during the first half of the 1991-1992 NBA season after winning the Championship sporting the Air Jordan 6 Infrared. Note that this year is the 30th anniversary of this colorway, and the last time the Jumpman released this colorway was its 23rd anniversary. The Carmine features the mythical red and white upper with black on the midsole, tongue, and pull tab.

Unlike the 2014 release, this release will feature the Nike Air on the heel for the time since the ’91 drop. The sneakers will release on February 13th, 2021, for CA$265.
