CLOT and Nike Revisit Their First Collaboration

CLOT and Nike teamed up for the first time in 2006 to release the Air Max 1 Kiss of Death. Fifteen years and many collaborations later, they are back to release a revised version of their first collaboration. The design is inspired by “Chi,” the spiritual energy that flows through the body and connects it with the universe, as well as the ancient Chinese art of pressure points. The color palette is similar to the OG release, even though the arrangement is slightly different.

This year’s version features red leather on the heel rather than an orange suede heel. The leather tongue and snakeskin Swoosh branding also feature Deep Red tones. The base upper sports a beige suede sitting on a sole unit consisting of an icy blue outsole and orange midsole. The human foot anatomy is a constant theme throughout the design, with the pressure point-displaying insoles and a multi-colored pressure point map of the sole peeking through the outsole. Additionally, these sneakers feature a perforated toe displaying the Chinese acupuncture-inspired look once more.

The pair will release on March 6th alongside the anticipated Air Jordan 1 High Retro OG University Blue. The CLOT x Air Max 1 Kiss of Death has a price tag of CA$170. If you’re located in Canada and are looking to buy and sell sneakers, visit our marketplace at
